Metal Color Kicker

Separator for separating colored objects from material streams using an RGB camera or separating aluminum or copper from material streams using a metal sensor.

Description:

The system, consisting of a feed chute with feed hopper, a feed plate, an acceleration belt, a sensor and camera system with particularly high sensitivity and a highly efficient flap system, was developed to separate a wide variety of materials from a waste stream.
The fed material is evenly distributed on the conveyor belt of the metal kicker. At the end of the belt, the parts (> 1 to 2 mm, useful from approx. 5 mm, adjustable) are detected, analyzed and deflected out of the material flow by a highly sensitive, spatially resolving metal sensor and camera. This is done by our patented electrodynamically driven flaps. These flaps are arranged parallel to the discharge edge of the conveyor belt. Each flap is assigned a sensor/channel.
