The CI3000's humidification system operates with a compressed air ultrasonic spray nozzle. Prior to entering the unit, the compressed air must pass through a water/oil separator. The small air regulator in the CI3000 contains a secondary water-oil filter and a 5-micron particulate filter. Ensure that a dedicated oil-water separator is installed and do not rely solely on the air regulator's filter as it is intended only as an auxiliary device.
